Ingredients (serves
2-3)
- 1 squid (body only) approx. 200g
- 2 bell peppers, cut into cube-sized pieces (2cm)
- 2 white oignons (quarter chopped)
- 1 tbs ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbs all-purpose flour / corn flour
- 1 fresh green chilli, seeded & sliced
- 2 stalks spring onions, cut into 1″ sections
- 1 carrot slided
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 tbs light soy sauce
- 2 tbs oyster sauce
- Salt and Pepper
Instructions:
- Take your knife and make small slits along the flat squid pieces in a checkered pattern.
- In a bowl, marinade your squid, ½ tbs salt + 1 tbs ginger garlic paste, 1 tbs light soy sauce and 1 tbs oyster sauce, leave for 10mins
- Heat oil in pan and sauté the squid marinade + flour, leave for 5 mins, high heat
- Add onions, carrots, bell pepper, sliced chilli, + 1 tbs oyster sauce and salt and pepper + 1cup of water, medium heat for 15 mins
- Add spring onions while serving
- Serve with bread
